Santiago Enríquez is a technology and sustainability strategist with a multidisciplinary background in clean energy, innovation, and international cooperation. He currently serves as Project Manager for Green Hydrogen at AHK Argentina – the Argentine-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce – where he leads bilateral initiatives at the intersection of energy transition and industrial decarbonization. With over a decade of experience across the public sector, academia, and international networks, Santiago has held key roles in scientific innovation, social technology transfer, and clean energy project development. At the Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica (CNEA), he spent more than 17 years advancing innovation strategies in Argentina’s nuclear and energy research sectors. He also served as a Technology and Social Linkage Officer at the Instituto Balseiro, where he facilitated cross-sector collaborations and knowledge dissemination. Santiago’s expertise extends to space and sustainability diplomacy through his leadership in the Space Generation Advisory Council, where he acted as Argentina’s National Point of Contact and Regional Coordinator for South America, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) initiatives focused on affordable and clean energy. A firm advocate for cross-border knowledge exchange, Santiago has participated in international forums in Germany and beyond, bringing a systems-level view to green energy innovation. His work now centers on accelerating Argentina’s green hydrogen ecosystem through German-Argentine cooperation. Santiago will be joining the second edition of Argentina Energy Week as a speaker, where he will offer a forward-looking perspective on hydrogen innovation, international partnerships, and the role of emerging technologies in Latin America’s energy transformation.
