Masen, the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy, has officially launched the tender process for the Nassim Nord 400MW Wind Power Program.

This initiative underscores Morocco's commitment to accelerating its renewable energy expansion, guided by the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The program will feature two wind farms: Nassim Koudia Al Baida Wind Farm Extension (approx. 150 MW) and Nassim Dar Chaoui Wind Farm (approx. 250 MW).

These projects are strategically located in the provinces of Fahs-Anjra, M'diq-Fnideq, Tangier, and Tetouan, setting the stage for significant advancements in our energy infrastructure.

This project not only aims to enhance Morocco’s electric grid but also accelerates our journey towards a 52% renewable energy mix by 2030, well ahead of the initial targets. It also highlights the role of private sector involvement and international banks in funding sustainable energy advancements.
