Victoria Sabbioni is a prominent figure in Argentina’s energy industry, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC) since November 2023. With over 20 years of experience across the natural gas value chain, midstream infrastructure, and power generation, she has played a central role in advancing Argentina’s gas commercialisation and energy transition strategy. Prior to her current position, Victoria held several senior roles at CGC, including Gas, Power & Midstream Commercial Director and Natural Gas Manager. During her tenure, she led critical initiatives to optimise gas transport and commercial operations, foster integration between upstream and power generation, and navigate the evolving regulatory frameworks of Argentina’s energy sector. She also serves as Director at Gasoducto GasAndes Argentina S.A., a key strategic asset in cross-border energy connectivity between Argentina and Chile. Her work there underscores her expertise in managing complex midstream systems and enhancing regional energy cooperation. Before joining CGC, Victoria built a robust career at TotalEnergies, where she spent over 12 years leading the Gas Marketing division for industrial and power generation clients. Her responsibilities spanned commercial strategy, dispatching, and client relationship management, positioning her as a key player in Argentina’s liberalised gas market. Earlier in her career, she gained foundational experience in gas consultancy at ECS - Energy Consulting Services. Victoria Sabbioni’s comprehensive knowledge of Argentina’s gas infrastructure, combined with her strategic commercial acumen and leadership across both domestic and regional energy platforms, places her at the forefront of the country’s natural gas and energy transition agenda. As CCO of CGC, she is instrumental in aligning the company’s commercial strategy with the future of cleaner, more efficient energy systems across Latin America.
