Maher Chebbo is a highly accomplished Global Senior Executive and Managing Director with extensive expertise in Digital SaaS, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Telecoms, Energy, Renewables, and SmartGrids. With a career spanning over 25 years, Maher has held senior leadership positions across both major global corporations (Univers, GE Digital, SAP, Cap Gemini) and innovative startups (Accenta.ai). His work is deeply rooted in driving digital transformation and sustainability across industries, particularly in energy storage solutions, smart infrastructure, and net-zero initiatives. Currently, Maher serves as Managing Director for Europe at Univers, where he leads AI-driven solutions for decarbonization and energy transition projects across the continent. His leadership has been pivotal in managing over 600 GW of renewable energy assets and 20 GW of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), driving Europe's path toward its 2050 net-zero goals. Maher is also known for his contributions as a Non-Executive Board Member at Elisa, a leader in 5G technology, and his involvement in various industry boards and task forces, including the EU Commission's Batteries Europe Digital Task Force and the UN's Council of Engineers for Energy Transition.
