Franco Borrello is an engineer, entrepreneur, and renewable energy specialist with vast experience in developing and financing wind, solar and biogas energy projects. Franco has co-founded Coral Energía, a leading wind and solar project development company in Argentina, and Cleanergy Renewables, a bioenergy company which provides end-to-end services, operates and invests in biogas plants in Argentina. Previously, Franco has worked with the IMPSA group to develop a project portfolio of more than 2,500 MW in 9 countries. While in the US, as part of the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy, he co-designed a platform to evaluate and implement techno-economic roadmaps and catalyze financing of innovative clean technologies. Franco is a Fulbright Scholar with MS degrees in Energy at UTN (Argentina) and Northeastern University (USA), and graduate certificates at Northeastern and MIT. He earned his Industrial Engineering degree at University of Buenos Aires.
